Korean Traditional Dance & Instrument Class

Saturdays, 1:40 - 2:40 pm (2nd - 12th grade), 1:50 - 2:50 pm (Adult)



Instruments will be available for playing in the class.

Please contact KACCSA before you register for this class. If you are taking class at KACCSA for the first time, you can pay the one-time registration fee of $20 here.

Class Description
Teaching basic traditional dance and instruments such as Korean Jang-Gu, varieties of drum dances.  The goal is to share and deliver Korean culture to everyone. We will have performances as well.

This class will be started as basic hand strokes first for different type of drums including Jang-gu and Nanta. And we will go into rhythms including Semachi rhythm, Goodguri rhythm, huimori rhythm. Dances including Hwagwanmu (dance), Fan Dance, Samgomu dance, Janggu dance will be taught as well.

Come and join us, we will have a special experience to learn Korean traditional dances and instruments, and enjoy the chance of performance in front of many who love Korean culture in San Antonio, TX!
