Scholarship
On November 30th at 12:45 PM, Director Hang Cha Jones (Cho) from the Jones Korean Dance group, a supporter of the Korean Cultural Center of San Antonio and Nuri School, presented certificates and scholarships to the students of the Youth Dance Troupe at the Korean Cultural Center.
The event was conducted by Director Deukhee Gong of the Korean Cultural Center, with parents in attendance. Certificates and scholarships were awarded to six students and to Ms. Suk Cha Choi, who has led the Youth Dance Troupe for the past three years.
The Youth Dance Troupe has consistently practiced weekly and has performed at various cultural and local events for over 10 years, including the Asian Festival and the UTSA Kimchi Festival.
The Korean American Cultural Center of San Antonio is
an organization that provides the President's Volunteer Service Award.
